What the app does
- Dashboards — see device status grids, latency, loss, and throughput charts, and summary stats for your monitored infrastructure at a glance.
- Alerts — view firing alerts and acknowledge them from your phone.
- On-call schedule — see who is on call, and take or cover shifts.
- Push notifications — get notified the moment an alert triggers while you are on call, on Android and iOS.
Getting started
- Pingmon connects to your organisation's Pingmon server. Point the app at your server, then sign in — with your organisation's single sign-on, or with an email and password issued by your Pingmon administrator.
- After you sign in interactively, Pingmon asks permission to send push notifications so it can alert you while you are on call. You can change this anytime in your device settings.
- The app works on phones and tablets, with a wider top-navigation layout on larger screens.
Common questions
- Not receiving push notifications? Notifications are sent only when an alert fires while you are on call. Check that notifications are enabled for Pingmon in your device settings and that you have signed in interactively at least once so your device is registered.
- Can't sign in? Confirm your server address is correct and that your account is active with your Pingmon administrator. Single sign-on uses your organisation's OpenID Connect (Keycloak) provider; email/password sign-in uses the credentials your administrator issued.
- Where does my data live? On your own Pingmon server. The app is only a client — it does not store your monitoring data with Olga Downs LLC.
Pingmon on the web
The web interface is where devices, dashboards, alert rules and the on-call roster are set up; the app is a window onto what that produces. Sign in at pingmon.tech/login, or start a trial if your organisation does not have an account yet. The monitoring agent for your own hosts is on the downloads page.
